Gallery of Regrettable Food 3.0 : 500 Snacks
None of this stuff resembles contemporary definitions of a ”snack” - when people want something small and tasty to get them through the afternoon, they generally don’t want jellied tongue entrapped in quivering aspic. But this is what they had back then. This is a glimpse before the Frito enlightened us all, and premade French Onion dip brought savory snacking to the humblest home.
